I suck. I really do.
I am a bad LJer. Completely atrocious at updating.
I keep getting sucked into the lameness that is my workload at Uni.
I have been writing essays non-stop for a month, and I have another 3 to write in 4 or so weeks. Yeah.
Next one due Monday. I am on 1500/2000 words, hopefully which I can get a draft of done by tonight so tomorrow I can start the editing. Over Two more by Christmas and over break I get to write one more and then my dissertation proposal, on which I have no idea what to do...
Most of them so far have sucked, which is what happens when you have a week to write an essay. Timing of these things was not worked out well at all.
Other than essays, life is reasonable. Housemates threw a party on bonfire night which lasted till 4am when I had to get up at 6.30ish. Went to work on 2 hours sleep. oh yeah, was not impressed. Basically reinforces my oh god i don't like shared accommodation pov.
Want more time to do crafty stuff, read more and watch TV more.
Big hit on Castle at the moment, who doesn't like watching Nathan Fillion play Nathan? Love it.
Anything else? Don't think so. Gonna go get this essay draft hopefully down then I can move onto dinner time and relax time.
Hope all are well.

Day 360
Almost at the end of my 365 days project.
Also almost at the end of my LJ paid account. Big question is will I renew? At this point I do not know. I still read all LJs on my flist I just have some fail in uploading. Maybe I can set a day a week to post something and actually make use of this journal again.
Not sure that I will have anything interesting to say as really, life is now revolving around studying for my MA. One week in and I already have a huge workload and deadlines beginning to approach.
These woods are opposite my house. They are actually quite small (can run through in less than 3 minutes) but a really nice place to get out of the house and go for a walk.

The Wonders of Tea!
I find myself without milk this morning and have to run out to get some. (And then order 20 long life cartons online!) Why the big emergency over milk? Because milk is the other ingredient necessary for tea! Without that tea essays will not be written, readings will not be read, concentration will wane and nothing will get done. Tea is one of those comforting, hand warming necessities of student life. Nay, of any life.
(OK, I admit it. I have a problem. But then don't we all have problems?)
(Problems that can be solved with tea?)

Snow Day: Templeman
The university shut at lunch time today meaning 2 of my classes were canceled. A good thing considering how icy it was walking home. Would not want to do that after dark. No one gritted the steps so the ice was really quite dangerous.
Hope the snow day is being fun for everyone.

Day 112: Total Eclipse
Ah Jaffa cakes, my old friends.
Out with Pip and his folks for lunch today but then back to the hard slog of work with a presentation coming up this week. Thankfully it does not count for anything but I still want to do well.
